Phillip W. Higley
In 2005 I finished my BA in Philosophy from Northwest University. In 2008 I finished my MA in Theology with an emphasis in Systematic Theology and Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. In the future I hope to enter a PhD program as well. As far as I know, I'm one of the only philosophy and theology nerds that can bench press over 350lbs. I'm also the only person to have quoted both Hobbits and Star Wars in a graduation commencement speech at Fuller. When I'm not reading theology or philosophy at Starbucks at five in the morning, I'm probably reading J.R.R. Tolkien. And in the evening, well, I work out. What a glorious life! Oh ya, my wife is hot too!!!Recommended Reading

Phil, I don’t know if you will see this post, but it’s worth a try. I was talking to Nathan, my oldest son Peter’s brother tonight on the phone and he and his rock climbing buddies are planning what’s call the Tarmigian Traverse which I think is in the back round of this pic. I dug out some of my pic’s from past Holden Hikes and told Nathan you had pic’s of yours and Peters. If Im correct, this picture was taken looking north just after you crested the Lyman Glaicer via Spider medows/Philps Creek approach? The peaks in the back round are the ones they will be following.
Ya, I climbed up this in running shoes. That was stupid. It took me a long time because I kept slipping down.
This hike is actually very dangerous. The only way to get out—assuming if one were stranded—would be by helicopter. And even then it wouldn’t be easy. You already know that though because you’ve hiked it multiple times I’m sure. Cool hike!!! Definitely saw the glory of God on the hike!
